Privacy Policy

My App Store Ranking is operated by Rebels. This notice covers data specific to this product and supplements the Rebels privacy policy at rebelsproductions.com/legal.

What we collect

  • Your email address and account id (via Firebase Authentication).
  • The apps you choose to track and your notification preferences.
  • Your timezone and notification channel details (e.g. a Slack webhook or Telegram chat id) that you provide.
  • A billing customer id from Paddle (we never see your card details).
  • If you connect an AI assistant, the name it reports for itself and the times it was connected and last used. See AI assistant connections below.

What we do not collect

App ranking data is public information published by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play Store) and is not personal to you. We do not sell your personal data.

AI assistant connections

You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your account so it can answer questions about your rankings. This is optional, off by default, and nothing below applies until you connect one.

What a connected assistant can read. Only your own account: the apps you track, their public ranking history, the competitors you track, the reference data behind the charts, and the reports we generate for you. Access is scoped to the credential issued to that connection.

What it cannot do. It cannot write anything. No connected assistant can add or remove a tracked app, or change a setting. It is never given your email address, your subscription status, your payment details, or your notification channel credentials.

What we store about a connection. The name the assistant reports for itself, the scopes you approved, when you connected it, and when it was last used. We also keep a per-call record of which connection called which endpoint and when, for abuse prevention and usage limits.

Where the answers go. When you ask a connected assistant a question, the data it reads is sent to whoever operates that assistant, and their privacy policy and data retention govern what happens to it there, including whether it is used to improve their models. That is a decision you make when you choose an assistant, and it is outside our control. We do not send your data to any AI provider ourselves, and we do not use your data to train models.

Turning it off. Open Settings and disconnect an existing connection. It takes effect immediately and invalidates every token that connection has issued.

Processors

We use Firebase (authentication), Cloudflare (hosting, database and email delivery), Paddle (billing), and Fly.io (data collection). Each processes data only to provide the service.

If you connect an AI assistant, its operator is not our processor. You contract with them directly, and they act on your instructions rather than ours.

Your choices

You can remove tracked apps and channels at any time, and request account deletion by emailing contact@myappstoreranking.com.
